TD Foundry’s Joseph Moseley wins the Worshipful Company of Ironmongers Jubilee Award 2024!

Huge congratulations to our employee Joseph Moseley who has won the prestigious Worshipful Company of Ironmongers Jubilee Award 2024!

The Jubilee Award, created at the Queen’s Silver Jubilee is in the gift of the Worshipful Company of Ironmongers one of the original 10 London Livery Companies.

The award is overseen and coordinated by the Institute of Cast Metals Engineers and rewards young engineers, under the age of 35, working in the ferrous castings field. The prize is an all-expenses paid trip to the World Foundry Congress, the world’s largest technical conference held this year in Deyang, China. The congress which is held every 2 years is hosted by WFO members around the world. He will also get a medal at the awards luncheon of the ICME.

The winner was assessed on a short written presentation highlighting their contribution to the development of their company or a process in the business, then an interview to confirm their suitability to represent the Ironmongers and the UK at this prestigious event.

Andrew Turner, Executive Secretary at the World Foundry Organisation said ‘Joseph is a worthy winner and will fly out to the event in October staying for 7 days and taking part in the 3 days of technical conference, social events, the works visits to a local foundry and a post congress tour to the Panda Breeding and conservation centre in Chengdu. I congratulate you for the development of this young man’.

Well done Joe!
