As part of the continued investment in our foundry facilities, we are thrilled to see our new shot blast plant taking shape. The plant comes complete with auto clean three-body extractor and is manufactured in the UK by Doug Booth and Sons Specialist Shot Blast Engineers.

Representing an investment of over £190,000 it allows us to increase our shot blasting capacity by 50% with more efficient blasting and better finishes on castings up to 300mm in depth.

Shot Blast Plant features:

• crMg body fabrication, solid manganese Mill
• Dual Stratification and suitable to handle sand inclusions

Capacity:

• Two-metre-wide Slat Bed
• Variable throughput up to 180 Metres per hour
• Four times 15-Kilowatt Blast Power (80 HP)
