Today, we operate a state of the art modern foundry in Dudley in the heart of the West Midlands. Over the last 10 years, we have invested over £15m in the very latest technology and our foundry is supported by unrivaled expertise in the design, development and manufacture of iron castings.
We can offer the choice of both Grey and Ductile iron and our modern production facilities have the capability to produce castings up to 750mm x 550mm and 100Kg in weight. We have the capacity to produce up to 1000 moulds per hour and the flexibility to supply batch quantities from 100 – 10,000 parts.
As well as casting production, TD Foundry can also offer the services of our award winning In house design, development and pattern making team. Our Advanced Centre for Engineering is equipped with cutting edge design technology including five seats of SolidWorks, metal flow simulation software, four CNC machining centres and a Steinbichler 3D scanner. These capabilities and our unrivaled expertise are called upon to formulate casting designs that help to optimise customer production and assembly efficiencies.
To complete the appearance and performance of our high quality castings, we are also able to provide a number of finishing options including fine cast, paint coatings and vitreous enameling along with other specialist finishes.
